Good to know:
- Individuality: Our swellable yarns consist of swellable fibers traditionally spun with one or more reinforcing yarns, of swellable nonwovens or of a composite of different materials individually adapted to you and your cable constructions.
- With our development ESY-PP you save money! This swelling yarn consists of polypropylene in the core and is wrapped with a highly swelling fleece. We can offer this construction in a non-conductive or semi-conductive version.
Facts:
- Diameter range: 0.4 mm - 30 mm
- Large diameters are also available with a semi-conductive layer
- The swelling properties (water absorption) of our yarns sometimes reach up to 100 times their own weight!
